Ms. Nelson is an attorney at the firm’s Walnut Creek office. Ms. Nelson’s practice primarily focuses on construction and professional liability, representing design professionals in litigation as well as pre-loss claim prevention and risk mitigation. Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Ms. Nelson worked as a defense attorney representing employers and carriers in federal claims of contractor injury or death arising as part of United States military efforts. Before her career as an attorney, Ms. Nelson spent 8 years at NASA Ames developing cooperative agreements and advising on partnership strategies and capabilities.
Ms. Nelson received her law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law and received her undergraduate from Middlebury College in Vermont.
