Brittany Fisher

SUMMARY

Brittany M. Fisher is a trial attorney at the firm’s Walnut Creek office. Ms. Fisher’s practice focuses on general civil litigation, public entity liability, and professional liability including the representation of directors and officers, architects, engineers, and legal professionals. She has extensive experience litigating discovery, dispositive, and evidentiary motions in state and federal court and in conducting e-discovery with an eye toward both legal and business needs.

Before joining C+C, Ms. Fisher successfully tried cases as an Assistant U.S. Attorney and as a county prosecutor. As a former clerk for the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia and a staff attorney for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, Ms. Fisher focused on constitutional claims, federal and state civil rights claims brought under the Civil Rights Act (42 U.S.C. Section 1983); sexual misconduct and harassment claims; employment claims of wrongful termination, discrimination, and retaliation; and malicious prosecution claims;
among others.

Ms. Fisher received her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Affairs with a minor in East Asian Studies from the University of Virginia.
