SUMMARY
Kathy K. Lee is a trial attorney at the firm’s Pasadena office. Ms. Lee’s practice focuses on public entity defense, general liability, and professional liability including the representation of design professionals in complex multi-party litigation. Ms. Lee’s practice also includes representing public entities and their employees in matters involving dangerous conditions of public property, personal injury, misconduct, and wrongful death. Ms. Lee brings extensive experience in prosecuting and defending complex civil actions, commercial disputes, catastrophic injury claims as well as real estate, business, and employment-related litigation.
Ms. Lee advises clients in a wide range of matters including unfair competition, business torts, trade secret, product and premises liability, catastrophic injuries, and real estate. Ms. Lee represents a broad range of businesses, public entities, national insurance companies and individuals with an emphasis on commercial litigation and dispute resolution. As a strong advocate for her clients in prosecution and defense of complex litigation matters, Ms. Lee has extensive experience in trial preparation, binding arbitration, drafting successful motions, and managing all aspects of civil discovery.
Prior to joining CCM +S, Ms. Lee practiced in the areas of insurance litigation, coverage, business litigation, and other related areas, including the representation of cities, counties, and other public entities, as well as commercial carriers/trucking companies in wrongful death, property damage, and catastrophic injury matters. Ms. Lee’s previous clients include Fortune 100 businesses, government entities, national insurance companies, property management and real estate companies, medical care groups, and the healthcare industry.
Ms. Lee received her undergraduate degree from University of California, Berkeley and her Juris Doctor from University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
