Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Willis practiced practice long-term healthcare litigation, public entity liability, including litigation involving municipalities, counties, and school districts, personal injury matters and insurance fraud.

Mr. Willis received his undergraduate degree from Pomona College in Claremont, California. A former social studies teacher, he attended Claremont Graduate University when he received his single subject teaching credential in Social Studies. He was named as an Arthur Vining Davis scholar during his tenure. He received his J.D. from the University of La Verne College of Law. He participated in the Frederick Douglass Moot Court competition on behalf of the law school and was a member of its traveling team.
