Robert Kahn

Robert S. Kahn, a member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, is a trial attorney at the firm’s Pasadena office. Having more than 20 years’ experience, Mr. Kahn’s practice is focused on the defense of various general liability matters, Public Entity liability, Construction law, Professional liability, and Geneal Business Litigation.

Before joining Collins + Collins, Mr. Kahn spent several years working as in Insurance Defense Trial Attorney where he defended general liability matters. In his most recent trial, he obtained a favorable trial verdict for his client, making them the prevailing party, who was alleged to have caused more than $1 million in damages. Prior to focusing on litigation, he worked as an in-house counsel, delivering pragmatic and insightful strategies and employment counseling for his clients, and he worked with small and medium sized firms defending various civil litigation matters.

A native of Chicago, Mr. Kahn has resided in California for more than 30 years. He obtained his law degree from Southwestern University in Los Angeles after receiving a bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara, where he majored in Law & Society.

In addition to being a licensed California attorney, Mr. Kahn is also admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the United States District Court, Eastern District of California, and the United States District Court, Central District of California.

Mr. Kahn is married, a dedicated Chicago Cubs (and Bears) fan, and he enjoys cooking, watching movies, listening to music, and playing poker.
