Aliya S. Gorelick is a trial attorney at the firm’s Walnut Creek office. Ms. Gorelick’s practice focuses primarily on construction litigation, environmental, real estate/land use, commercial transactions, and professional liability, including the representation of architects, engineers, and real estate professionals.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Gorelick provided tailored legal counsel to a diverse range of clients. Her work spanned non-profits, tribal organizations, and start-ups in the voluntary carbon market, including supporting compliance with a multimillion-dollar international carbon financing agreement with Microsoft. She advised energy companies on water rights, guided small businesses through entity formation and strategic planning, and supported grant and blended finance initiatives. Additionally, Ms. Gorelick offered estate planning services for protection of intergenerational wealth and end-of-life planning.
Ms. Gorelick earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Media Communications from Colorado State University and received her Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento.
