SUMMARY
Mr. Haber is a trial attorney at the firm’s San Diego office. Mr. Haber’s practice primarily focuses on general business litigation, environmental, public entity liability, civil rights, personal injury, labor and employment, and professional liability including the representation of architects, engineers, and professionals. EXPERIENCES
Public Entity Dismissed from Lawsuit: Mr. Haber represented a public entity County in a case that alleged procedural and substantive due process violations by a former Public Defender. We successfully demurred that plaintiff failed to give proper notice of his claims to the County before filing the lawsuit. The Court sustained the demurrer but granted leave to amend. Plaintiff’s First Amended Complaint did not name the County as a defendant and was then dismissed with prejudice.
