Ms. Martin earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and her B.A. in Political Science from UC Berkeley. During law school, she clerked for the City of Chicago, defending the City against tort claims, and won multiple moot court competitions. Most notably, she competed in the international Vienna Vis Moot against more than 2,000 students and was one of 35 recipients of the Martin Domke Best Individual Oralist Award.
Upon graduating from law school, Ms. Martin honed her skills as a litigator at a defense firm, where she specialized in defending insurance companies against frivolous claims. She also worked at a plaintiff’s firm, where she focused on personal injury matters and bankruptcy proceedings. Having represented both plaintiffs and defendants, Ms. Martin brings a unique perspective that enables her to develop compelling and efficient defense strategies.
