A native of Indiana, Mr. Daftary obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in International Relations from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Notre Dame Law School.
EXPERIENCE
Appellate Brief Successfully Argued Before the Ninth Circuit: In his role as Deputy City Attorney for the City of Oceanside, Mr. Daftary co-authored an appellate brief in a civil rights case concerning the Vienna Convention of Consular Rights, which was successfully argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. (Cornejo v. County of San Diego, et al., 504 F.3d 853 (9 th Cir. 2007)).
