SUMMARY
Kristopher P. Lancial is a trial attorney at the firm’s San Diego office. Mr. Lancial is an experienced attorney in all aspects of litigation. His practice areas include general litigation with significant experience in personal injury defense, corporate liability, and auto liability. As part of his civil litigation practice Mr. Lancial has represented individuals, corporations, public entities, and their employees in matters involving general tort litigation, contract issues, and employment, often times in complex multi-party matters with catastrophic or death claims. Mr. Lancial also has experience with various intellectual property fields including copyright, trademark, and patents. Mr. Lancial successfully uses strategies to position cases for favorable results in trials, arbitrations, and mediations. In recent cases his strategies have led to voluntary dismissals of his clients, fee shifting via tender of defense, and early resolution of matters through mediation and direct negotiation all of which have saved clients thousands in litigation expenses. Mr. Lancial has successfully argued cases in front of arbitrators and judges to achieve awards of less than one-third of the Plaintiff’s desired amount. Mr. Lancial has had success with motions to strike, motions to compel, and motions for terminating sanctions.
